Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Checking temperatures and quality of samples and making any necessary production adjustments
• Introducing new or different methods of brewing
• Accurately recording raw materials, production stage timings and quality checks
• Working on new recipes for seasonal and specialty beers ensuring they appeal to a certain market, or will enhance sales at a specific time of the year
• Quality assurance of bottled beer (watch for low fills, low FOB's, no caps, or leaking caps)
• Quality assurance of packaged cases (fully sealed, no leaking, dated)
• Troubleshooting machinery if it goes off-line
• Keeping packaging area safe and efficient by ensuring broken bottles are removed and machinery is working properly
• Performs Preventative Maintenance routines as designated by the Head Brewer
• Troubleshoots equipment problems within the department
• Understands and adheres to safety standards
• Alerts management personnel to potential quality concerns
• Functions well working in a team environment
• Cleans and maintains bottling/kegging facilities
• Quality inspection of all packaged products
• General maintenance, cleaning and sanitation of packaging equipment
• Cleaning of kegs and preparation for filling

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Good trouble shooting skills, Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
• Packaging/bottling line experience preferred
• Prior experience handling chemicals with an emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing chemicals and protocols
• Prior experience in a brewery production environment
• Strong mechanical background
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 75 pounds
